History of GT3

 Group GT3, a set of FIA regulations for grand tourer racing cars, emerged in 2005 as a third-tier category below GT1 and GT2 within the SRO Motorsports Group's framework. The first GT3 series, the FIA GT3 European Championship, debuted in 2006. GT3 has since become a widely adopted global category for various national and international racing series.
