YZF R6 History

 

The Yamaha YZF-R6 is a sport motorcycle that was first introduced in 1999. It was designed as a super-sport version of the YZF-R1 and a more track-focused counterpart to the street-oriented YZF600R. The R6 has seen several significant revisions throughout its lifespan, including changes to the engine, chassis, and bodywork.
